When should I book?

I generally take bookings in 3 month blocks, however feel free to get in touch if you have something specific you’d like to book in advance for! For maternity I generally suggest anywhere from 31 weeks, but it also comes down to when you fee most comfortable.

What time do sessions start?

Sessions times for outdoor shoots are 1.5-2hours before sunset, but weather dependent so it may differ slightly! In home sessions we can have more flexibility, especially for new born shoots I am more then happy to work around you and your family to find a suitable time.

What should I wear?

Whatever you feel most comfortable and yourself in! Don’t over think it, we want these photos to capture you all just as you are!

What is required to book in a session? and how is payment taken?

I require a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure the date for your session. This is paid via bank transfer, you will be sent invoice details as soon as we have decided on a date. The remaining balance is due prior to your session. If you decide to upgrade your package a second invoice will be sent through prior to me sending through the completed gallery.

What if the weather is bad or we need to reschedule for other reasons?

It is the nature of this job that we have to work around the weather! If it is going to be wet or windy I will move sessions around to ensure conditions are safe and enjoyable for everyone. Your deposit ensures your session is locked in we may just have to adjust things once the forecast is out and I will always contact you about this.

I also understand that life happens, especially when working with families with small children! If you need to reschedule get in touch ASAP and I will always do my best to accommodate you.

What locations do you use?

I have a few favourite outdoor locations including beach, forest and fields. if there is somewhere you would love to go don’t hesitate to ask I am always up for exploring new spots.
